I decided on Ireland's home today!

​I found a home for Ireland.
It was definitely one of those IYKYK kind of things, which is how I wanted it.
Ireland is very special to me as she was born on both me and my Mom's birthday.
But the thing is... I retire all my adults. I don't keep them.
With the exception of 1. That was Ocean. I wouldn't have put someone or Ocean in that situation because it wouldn't have gone well...
I lost Ocean in January, she was my heart & soul dog.
The person getting Ireland lost her soul dog this year too.
It's truly meant to be.
Many years ago, I met a young man named Matthew from North Dakota who got one of Hedwig's Harry Potter pups... the litter was nicknamed after names from HP that aren't widely use, so instead of Harry, Hermoine, and Ron I went with - Mrs. Norris, Felix Felicis, and Nagini. 
​Hedwig is Ireland's grandmother who came from New Mexico.
Now sometimes my memory is hazy, I've been doing this a lot of years, but I want to think he came to see her with his Mom. Then came back to pick her up when she was ready. He chose Mrs. Norris and named her Hazel Grace.
Around that time I became facebook friends with Matthew, his mom, and his sister. I've never actually met his sister but feel like I know her since I see updates of her life and her dog and her love for old cars, etc.
Years later, Matthew's Mom was in need of a new companion, and she got Hedy (retired) now EmmyLou and she splits her time living in Minnesota in the summer and South Padre Island in Texas in the winter.
Throughout the course of things, I seen Matthew's sister take off to Arizona. And eventually Matthew followed so Hazel lives in Arizona now too.
His sister reached out to me the night before my Matthew's 21st birthday and I just instantly KNEW when her name popped this was meant to be.
Ireland will be going to Arizona this fall with Chelsea. I hope she can help heal a little bit of the void from Gertie's loss.
