I'm a big believer in crating my Bostons when I'm away. It's their "safe space."
I don't trust them all to be out and about together when I'm not around. Sometimes people will cover their crate to keep it nice and dark and den like. However, I highly *discourage* covering a wire crate with a blanket as I have just read that a pup can pull the blanket into their crate, chew a hole, and hang/strangle themself. Super scary and I do not want that happening to you! If you feel the need to cover the crate, use something hard (a board or something) so they can't pull it into their crate. Also never leave a collar on a pup in a crate, again they could get caught in there. I don't suggest putting things in there with them such as toys, treats, etc. as it poses a choking hazard. As far as crate sizes go I suggest using a small size 24" and I buy them on Chewy.com They are the most affordable, easy to clean, and my go to crate. Comments are closed.
