I couldn't resist these cute planters at the local greenhouse in Sioux Falls.
I'm already a crazy dog lady, might as well be a crazy plant lady too. This little pup will actually be 8 weeks old on St. Patrick's Day.
She will move to Minnesota with a previous MZ Boston Family that has a Yeti/Hedwig pup named Huck. :) I often get asked where I got my whelping pool covers.
From a company located in Texas, called Far-More Shade. These are the best. Puppies can't get underneath them like the EZ Whelp pads. I won't whelp another litter without them. Made in the USA I'm possibly looking to place a retired/spayed female of mine, specifically Little Dog Rogue. I feel deep down in my heart it's the right thing to do as I look back on the adults I've retired and know it was the best decision I made for them. The transition can be a little ruff and tough that first week or two, but they do become so bonded with their new family, they don't even remember me. And I'm ok with that. Now, the catch is, it is has to be the utmost perfect person/family for me to place this girl because she's one of a kind. If I cannot find that perfect home than obviously I was incredibly wrong with even contemplating this decision... but I don't know unless I put it out there. It's got to be someone pretty special to me, someone very meaningful, not someone I personally do not know. Truthfully, had I not wanted to breed Bostons longterm, I would have been done after my first program and they wouldn't have gone anywhere, they would have stayed with me.... but then there wouldn't have been more puppies either. Update:
I found the perfect couple for Rogue and she joined them in Des Moines, Iowa. We definitely got lucky on our dog bed finds this weekend!
We'll be adding a few beds (while supplies last) into our 2021 Puppy Package too! We welcomed a new stud to ᴍᴢ ʙᴏꜱᴛᴏɴꜱ this weekend.
Introducing: VooDoo (Not his registered name but neither was Yeti's...) Looking forward to future puppies from this 15 lb little brindle guy. He will be perfect for the 2 Yeti's daughters we kept back: 𝐵𝒾𝓃𝒹𝒾 + 𝒮𝓉𝑒𝓋𝒾𝑒 and 𝔾𝕣𝕒𝕔𝕚𝕖 girl too for some future "𝕗𝕒𝕦𝕩 𝔹𝕠𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕟𝕤" for Phoenix. Thanks to his sweet breeder who was in the same predicament that we were, (needing a different bloodline for her program) that she parted with him and gave us the opportunity to scoop him up. I’m overjoyed when one of my pups is photographed by a professional photographer. Here’s Clarabelle (Hedwig pup) shared by her Momma, Nina. Here is their final photo shoot. * Luke * Bo * Cooter (Stanley) * Jesse Taking my Boston Terrier obsession to a whole new level.
Thanks to Squid at Divergent Ink for recreating the most perfect portraits of Echo and Yeti. She's amazing! I highly recommend this shop owned by Liz. I won't go anywhere else. Rogue and Hedwig were spayed and retired today.
They will live the good life as resident couch potatoes. :) I woke up to a negative Google review this morning. As a breeder, of course I want everyone to be happy, but sometimes that's not always the case.
