To Tape or Not To Tape?

Taping can be somewhat of a sticky subject. Pun intended.
No matter what, it really is a person's preference to tape or not to tape. 
Usually... their ears will stand without any problems, but I just want to be sure they do. 
It really all boils down to the "leather" of the ears. All ears are different.
I was quite surprised when we got Mavis at 9 weeks old, her ears were already standing.
None of the others did at that young of age. 

Let's take Lucky for an example. 
At 9 weeks old, his looked like they are starting to come up a bit, but not all the way. I've seen pictures of his sister, Topanga, and they are standing up, so every pup is different.
I decided to tape Lucky's ears because I want them to stand up. That's just my preference.
